Supporting Those Who Have Dedicated Their Lives to Serving Others

Together, We Are Building Hope, Healing & Resilience

Thank you for visiting our donation page and for considering an investment in the mental health and well-being of those who have dedicated their lives to serving our communities and our country.

Every donation—regardless of size—helps make a lasting difference in the lives of Veterans, serving Canadian Armed Forces members, RCMP members, first responders, and their families.

Together, Project Resilience 911 (PR911) and Paws 4 Valour are committed to ensuring that those who have spent their lives helping others never have to face life's challenges alone.

Our Story

Project Resilience 911 is a Manitoba-based, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of Veterans, serving military members, RCMP members, first responders, and their families through education, peer support, community partnerships, outreach, and innovative wellness programs.

Operating under the financial stewardship and governance of Project Resilience 911, Paws 4 Valour is a Veteran-led canine-assisted mental wellness program founded on one simple but powerful belief:

Sometimes healing begins with the unconditional love of a dog.

Founded by Joel Langley, a Veteran with 36 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces who also lives with PTSD, Paws 4 Valour was inspired by the life-changing impact his own dog had on helping him manage the daily challenges of anxiety, depression, and operational stress injuries.

What began as one Veteran's journey has grown into a community where participants discover purpose, build confidence, strengthen the bond with their dogs, and become part of a supportive "pack" that understands the challenges of service.

Why Our Program Is Different

Paws 4 Valour is much more than a dog training program.

It is a professionally led, peer-supported mental wellness initiative that combines:

  • Professional canine training

  • Veteran and first responder peer support

  • Mental wellness through the human-canine bond

  • Community engagement

  • Social reintegration

  • Lifelong friendships

  • A safe, welcoming, and judgment-free environment

Participants don't simply train their dogs—they rediscover confidence, routine, purpose, and meaningful connections with others who truly understand their experiences.

Every class helps build stronger handlers, stronger dogs, stronger families, and stronger communities.

Why We Need Your Support

Neither Project Resilience 911 nor Paws 4 Valour exists without the generosity of individuals, businesses, service clubs, foundations, and community partners.

Our programs are intentionally offered free of charge because we believe that financial barriers should never prevent someone from accessing meaningful mental wellness support.

Your donation helps ensure that every Veteran, serving member, RCMP member, and first responder can participate regardless of their financial circumstances.

As demand for our programs continues to grow, so does our responsibility to provide safe, professional, and sustainable services.

Your generosity allows us to continue saying "Yes" to those reaching out for help.
